As part of the emerging at the end of April 2015 donor conference Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine expects to attract more than 10 billion dollars of investment from foreign and domestic investors.

Emphasis on modernization and construction of infrastructure facilities:

• construction of trans-shipment port hubs;
• production, purchase, repair of railroad freight cars;

Particular attention will be paid to investment projects of modernization and creation of irrigation systems in the southern regions of our country. Great potential land Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Odessa regions was significantly lost due to poor funding, and thus sustaining the level of irrigation fields. On this the problem will be given special attention.

According to the Minister Alexei Pavlenko agricultural industry in this direction is already underway consultation with the World Bank.

According to preliminary calculations, the cost of the modernization of irrigation systems is about 3 billion dollars. According to the projects on the territory of Ukraine has been previously expressed interest from companies from Saudi Arabia. They are willing to allocate more than 1 mld. dollars.
